First Grade

Welcome to first grade, where you will watch your child GROW. Our mission is to ensure that all students receive a rigorous, high quality education in a safe and respectful environment that fosters lifelong learning. You'll be amazed at just how much your child will grow this year. At this point your child has the seed of reading planted, and now you will watch your child blossom into an independent reader. We will encourage your child to become a problem solver, independent thinker, risk taker and ultimately building a love for learning. The most lovely flowers usually have the best gardener...and that is YOU! Staying involved in your child's education is the key to a successful year.  As a team, we will work together to help your child blossom into academic independence and success!
